Equipment Overview
This semi-automatic metallographic grinding and polishing machine features dual discs, dual
controls, and dual motors, allowing two operators to work simultaneously. The grinding/polishing
head accommodates the preparation of 1 to 4 specimens; with single-point loading, different
pressures can be applied to individual specimens, significantly enhancing work efficiency. It is
suitable for the pre-grinding, grinding, and polishing of metallographic specimens. The main unit
offers stepless speed regulation and reversible rotation; the left and right discs operate at speeds
ranging from 50 to 1,500 rpm, ensuring broad versatility. It is an essential tool for metallographic
specimen preparation. Equipped with a universal cooling system, the machine cools specimens
during pre-grinding to prevent overheating, which could otherwise damage the microstructure.
